January 1,24 Integrated the new “TPCG Agencies and Schools Address Book” into the “Official Affairs Contact Book” posted online for access by TPCG staff. The “TPCG Agencies and Schools Address Book” (Staff List) on the iPSN Personnel Service Network was removed and service was discontinued on January 24. January 13 Convened the 2025 review meeting for the reorganization of task forces at the municipal level. Deputy Mayor Yi-Hua Lin presided over the meeting, with Secretary-General Tai-Hsing Li; Deputy Secretary-General Eric Chen-Hua Yu; the Department of Finance; the Department of Legal Affairs; Department of Budget, Accounting and Statistics; Research, Development and Evaluation Commission; and this Department participating in the review. January 16 Held the joint swearing-in and handover ceremony of the commissioners of this Department; the Department of Government Ethics; and the Department of Budget, Accounting and Statistics. January 17 Registration of the 2nd enrollment of preschool section of the “Non-Profit Kindergarten for Children of Employees of Taipei City Hall (entrusted to the Public Service Association in Taipei)” for academic year 2024 took place from 09:00 on January 8, 2025 to 12:00 on January 16, 2025, and computer drawing was completed at 10:00 am on January 17, 2025. January 23,24 Organized the new year benediction by the mayor at the Taipei City Hall in the afternoon on January 23, with the presence of colleagues from the Department of Economic Development, Department of Legal Affairs, Department of Education, Department of Civil Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Urban Development, and Department of Social Welfare; as well as the colleagues and citizens at the Beitou District Office in the morning on January 24. February 12 Held the 2025 executive meeting of the Department of Personnel (DOP) at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum chaired by the DOP commissioner, with the presence of 49 people in total, including heads (including concurrent heads) of personnel affairs of all DOP units and level-one TPCG agencies (organizations), and personnel directors of all TPCG district offices. February 25 Held the 1st staffing adjustment meeting of 2025 of TPCG agencies (organizations) and schools, with a total of 12 staffing proposals from 7 TPCG departments reviewed, including those from the Public Works Department, Department of Land Administration, Department of Health, Department of Information Technology, Department for Youth, Department of Education, and Department of Transportation. February 26 Held the 1st TPCG Organizational Structure Review Meeting of 2025, with Articles 3 and 4 and the organizational chart (draft) of the Taipei Water Department Self-Government Ordinances for Organization and Article 4 and organization chart (draft) of the Engineering Agency Organization Self-Government Ordinances of the Taipei Water Department reviewed. February 26 Activated the test ended on April 18 of the Personnel i-Service Phase II by the project team and its personnel agencies. March 5 Organized the 2025 annual seminar on retirement benefits and support laws for civil servants, with 318 participants in total. March 20 Held the 2nd staffing adjustment meeting of 2025 of TPCG agencies (organizations) and schools, with a total of 2 staffing proposals from 2 TPCG departments reviewed, including those from the Secretariat and Department of Economic Development. March 20,21 Organized the 2025 “Personnel Business Discussion Seminar”, with the DOP chiefs and directors giving lectures and sharing practical experience and case studies for 310 participants. March 21 Held the review meeting for personnel participating in the TPCG “Training for Civil Service Workers Promoted to Senior Rank” and “Training for Police Officers Promoted to Police Inspector” for 2025. April 10 The Department of Personnel hosted a seminar on self-directed investment under the individual pension account system for employees in the civil service and teaching sectors, with a total of 340 participants. April 12 In conjunction with “2025 National Pet Day - Spring Dog Outing,” the Department of Personnel organized “Taipei City Government Companion Animal Day” for employees and their families, with a total of 95 participants. April 22 The “2025 Exemplary Civil Servant Recognition Ceremony” was held on the 2nd floor of the Taipei City Hall Parent-Child Cinema honoring 31 exemplary civil servants. April 22 Awards were presented at a city government meeting to recognize 30 outstanding workers in 2025. April 26 Organized the 2025 Taipei City Government Singles Networking Event, titled “Leisurely Tea Trails - A Nostalgic Ride on the Shen’ao Line,” with a total of 40 participants. May 8 Held the 2nd meeting of the 2025 TPCG Organizational Review to review proposed amendments to certain articles and the draft organizational chart of the Taipei Zoo, as well as Articles 3, 10, and 11 and the draft organizational chart of the Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office. May 9 Held the 3rd staffing adjustment meeting of 2025 of TPCG agencies (organizations) and schools, with a total of 10 staffing proposals from 6 TPCG departments reviewed, including those from the Department of Sports, Department of Economic Development, Department of Social Welfare, Department of Health, Department of Education, and Department of Transportation. May 23 Convened the 1st meeting of the special task force for the 2026 fiscal year budget and staffing plan for TPCG. Deputy Commissioner Li Ching-i presided over the meeting, inviting the participation of the Department of Finance, Department of Budget, Accounting and Statistics and Research, Development and Evaluation Committee from TPCG for a joint review. June 5,6,19,20 Commissioned the Department of Civil Servant Development to conduct the first and second sessions of the 2025 Retirement Career Planning Workshop for TPCG. The sessions were attended by 41 and 27 participants, respectively. June 6 Organized a comprehensive discussion with the Department of Social and Public Affairs of Taipei City University regarding the Public Affairs Internship Program for the 2nd semester of the 2024 academic year. June 13 The enrollment period for the “Non-profit Kindergarten for Children of Taipei City Government Staff (Administered by the Public Service Association in Taipei)” and the “Taipei City Government Private Preschool for Children of Taipei City Government Staff (Administrated by the Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C)” for the 2025 academic year is from 9 AM, May 23, 2025, to 12 PM on June 12, 2025. The lottery draw was conducted at 10 AM on June 13, 2025. June 18 The “2025 Outstanding Young Civil Servant Recognition Ceremony” was held at the International Conference Hall on the 6th floor of the TPCG Department of Youth, honoring 15 exemplary young civil servants. June 25 Convened the second meeting of the 2026 budget personnel plan project team, chaired by Secretary-General Li Tai-hsing. The meeting included joint reviews by the Department of Finance, the Department of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, and the Research, Development and Evaluation Committee to address unresolved personnel matters from the first meeting concerning various agencies and schools. June 30 The 4th meeting of the year 2025 was convened to discuss proposals for increasing or adjusting the budget staffing levels of five agencies under the TPCG, including the Department of Civil Affairs, Department of Economic Development, and Department of Education, involving a total of 10 staffing plans. July 6 The TPCG, in cooperation with Fubon Financial Holding Co., Ltd., organized the “Summer of Friendship” Singles Networking Event at the AMAZING HALL (Minquan Hall). The event had a total of 138 participants, including 67 TPCG employees, aiming to foster interactions between single employees from the public and private sectors, expand social opportunities, and enhance engagement. July 10 Held the 2025 expanded executive meeting of the Department of Personnel (DOP), attended by a total of 212 participants, including DOP division-level chiefs and above, directors of personnel offices of municipal universities, personnel heads (including concurrent positions) of level-one TPCG agencies (organizations) and district offices, personnel heads of level-two agencies (organizations) and schools, as well as outstanding personnel staff of the DOP for 2025. July 29 A delegation from the Youth Division of Japan’s Democratic Party for the People, led by Youth Division Director and Member of the House of Representatives Satoshi Asano, visited Taiwan. The six-member delegation paid a courtesy call on the Mayor and toured the “Taipei City Government Private Preschool for Children of Taipei City Government Staff,” which is commissioned to the Down Syndrome Foundation, R.O.C. July 30 Held the 5th staffing adjustment meeting of 2025 of TPCG agencies (organizations) and schools, with a total of 20 staffing proposals from 16 TPCG departments reviewed, including those from the Department of Health, Department of Civil Affairs, Department of Education, Department of Social Welfare, and 12 District Offices. August 1 The opening event of the 2025 TPCG Family Day, held in conjunction with the 8/1 Indigenous Peoples Week Series, took place at the courtyard, the Teachers and Students Gallery, and the North Wing Corridor on the 1st floor of Taipei City Hall. Participants included TPCG employees, their children, and family members, totaling 813 people from 291 families. The event aimed to promote family bonding among employees and their children, as well as to enhance understanding and respect for indigenous cultures. August 26 The 2025 Taipei City Government Outstanding Parent Employee Commendation Ceremony was held at the Metro Gold Theater of Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, where 15 outstanding parent employees were honored. August 27 A business exchange symposium between the Examination Yuan and the TPCG was held, led by Examination Yuan Vice President Shu-Hsiang Hsu, accompanied by Commissioners Chia-Chi Teng, Chiu-Hui Lu, and Tung-Yi Huang, Deputy Secretary-General Mei-Hung Wu, Ministry of Examination Chief Secretary Hung-Tsung Tung, Ministry of Civil Service Chief Secretary Cheng-Hsiang Hsiao, and Civil Service Protection and Training Commission Chief Secretary Hui-Chuan Liao. In addition to Mayor Chiang, Deputy Mayors Si-Chuan Li, Yi-Hua Lin, and Wen-Te Chang, Secretary-General Tai-Hsing Li, and Deputy Secretary-General Eric Chen-Hua Yu personally attended the meeting, with representatives from all level-one agencies of the TPCG also present. September 12 Commissioner Hsien-Hui Wu and Deputy Commissioner Yen-Che Tseng of the Department of Personnel, Hualien County Government, led four section chiefs on a visit to the Department of Personnel of the TPCG. The two sides exchanged and shared experiences on the recruitment and retention of civil engineers and visited the Employee Counseling Office established by the TPCG. September 17 Our department underwent an on-site external audit for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) conducted by a third-party, and successfully passed the verification. September 22 Held the 6th staffing adjustment meeting of 2025 of TPCG agencies (organizations) and schools, with a total of 4 staffing proposals from 2 TPCG departments reviewed, including those from the Department of Education and the Department of Cultural Affairs. September 24 Held the 3rd TPCG Organizational Structure Review Meeting of 2025, with Articles 3, 11, and 12 and the organizational chart (draft) of the Taipei City Employment Services Office Organizational Regulations, as well as Article 3 and the organizational chart (draft) of the Taipei City Fire Department Organizational Regulations reviewed.
