Taipei City Government (TCG) aims to prevent, identify, and assist employees with resolving any issues that may impact their performance at work. Suitable programs and resources based on a variety of specialist services have therefore been developed to help maintain the physical and mental well-being of TCG employees at work, as well as boost productivity and service delivery.
The TCG Employee Assistance Program (EAP) encompasses counseling services, counseling and management consulting for troubled employees, organizing of EAP workshops, organizing of mental health promotion courses, training of support workers in each agency, loan of books on mental and spiritual growth, on-site psychiatric clinics, connection and referral to other resources (e.g. Mental Health Center, legal advice, healthcare services, debt negotiation counseling), and so on.
