Dec 20 | On December 20, 2011, the Department of Land and the Department of Compulsory Military Service changed their Chinese titles, due to the amendment of “Organization Regulations of Local Administration Agency”; the Indigenous Peoples Commission changed its Chinese titles also, pursuant to the “The Indigenous Peoples Basic Law.”(Note: these agencies’ English titles still remain the same.) In order to announce the changes taking place in the Department of Land, the Department of Compulsory Military Service and the Indigenous Peoples Commission, the Department of Personnel organized the swear-in ceremony and opening ceremony at the Liu Ming –chuan Hall located on the twelfth floor of City Hall on the same day. |

Sep 15 | The Department of Personnel(DOP) held the 2nd Conference of Personnel Executives 2011 at the Multimedia Room of Fire Safety Museum of Taipei city on September 15. Eighty personnel executives attended the conference, including the Division Chief or above within the DOP, the Manager of the City Welfare Commission, Chief Personnel Officers of DOP and its subordinate agencies at various levels, and Chief Personnel Officers of District Offices. |

May 30 | The Department of Personnel participated in the “Third Human Resource Management Innovation and Achievement Contest for Executive Yuan-affiliated and Municipal Personnel Agencies” organized by the Central Personnel Administration with “Starting from the Heart: Limitless e-Innovations”. It received the award for outstanding achievements. |
Mar 1 | During the city administration conference, the mayor presented the certificates to 17 schools and institutions at the award ceremony for 2011 Taipei City Government Gender Equality Promotions Award. He also praised them for their outstanding performances. |
Feb 8 | In the morning, the mayor presided over the Chinese New Year greeting session at the Shen Pao-cheng Hall located on the first floor of city hall. He wishes all employees a “Happy Chinese New Year” and his message was broadcasted inside the building. |

Mayor Hau Lung-bin presided over the meeting with Examination Yuan Member Huang Fu-yuan.
